Covid-19 Update 2022
We are pleased to advise that Reece Associates dental practice is fully open to see patients. As highlighted by the Chief Dental Officer for England “Dentistry is an essential medical service… Patients are entitled to travel for medical appointments.” You are actively encouraged to keep your appointments. At Reece Associates we have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will continue to follow our high standards in cross infection control.
Appointments can be made by calling our usual number 0121 355 5180. If you are a Plan Patient and would like an appointment please call us on the number we have provided you. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are worried about your attendance please contact us to discuss your concerns, we can always postpone your treatment until a later date.
To look after everyone’s health we have had to make a few changes. Before attending your appointment we request you read our COVID-19 Reopening Policy
When you arrive: We advise that you wear a mask at all times while inside the dental practice and only remove your mask at the request of the dental professional. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for an appointment due to social distancing guidelines. As you enter the building you will need to use the alcohol disinfectant rub to disinfectant your hands. The treatment rooms will be prepared prior to your appointment with all surfaces disinfected after each patient. The air purification/exchange units will continue to be used throughout the day in each surgery. We have sourced PPE and unlike the start of the Pandemic (March 2020 in the UK), there is no shortage.
In line with current recommendations, we do request that any patient who is experiencing a new persistent cough, a raised temperature (37.8°C or above), change or loss of taste or smell reschedules their appointment until such time as they have had a negative Covid-19 result. If you have these symptoms and require emergency dental care please call 111.
Our patients’ health is our priority. We are working closely with NHS England and the local health authority, any further updates we will publish here on our website as soon as possible. We would like to thank you for your continued support.
