The procedure

The procedure for veneers is very straight forward. At your first appointment we would discuss with you what you are looking to achieve from your smile and take an impression of your teeth, this will be sent along with your smile request to a team of highly skilled laboratory technicians who will create something called a diagnostic wax up.

You will then be invited back to surgery to view this wax up which is a model made of wax which shows you what your teeth will look at the end, we will also give you a chance to try this end result in so you can get a better feel of what you smile will look like. This is your chance to tell us if you would like to modify anything. Once you are happy we will invite you back to the surgery to have your teeth prepared. The dentist will prepare your teeth by taking off a minimal amount of your tooth surface and will fit you with temporary veneers. These will give a trial of your smile so you can get used to the feel of them in your mouth and more importantly what they will look like!

If you still feel that shape and size of them could be change then this is the perfect opportunity for us to modify them until you are completely satisfied before your permanent ones are fitted.

We will then invite you back the surgery about a week to ten days later for your final visit, remove your temporary veneers and fit you with your exquisitely crafted permanent veneers.
